Club History

The story of London Eagles Cricket Club began in the summer of 2010 in the dusty parking lots of Western University. A bunch of young friends from different countries came together to form the Club to fill the need for cricket in the London community. The group's friendly attitude and passion for the game fostered a positive, fun, and competitive environment which led to more Eagles joining and rapidly soaring every year.

Club Objectives

1. London Eagles Cricket Club (hereafter referred to as “London Eagles”) seeks to develop and promote the sport of cricket within the London community and across the region of Southwestern Ontario in Canada.

2. London Eagles is committed to fostering an equitable, inclusive, safe, impartial, and respectful environment to play and learn cricket through, but not limited to, practice sessions, inter- and intra- club matches, friendly games, and league matches.

3. Membership at London Eagles is open to anyone interested in the sport of cricket in London, Ontario, Canada regardless of sex, age, ability, nationality, sexual orientation, religion, or beliefs.

Club Code of Conduct

1. Members are expected to embody the spirit of cricket, encourage team spirit, and display sportsmanlike conduct when participating in activities representing London Eagles.

2. Any improper behavior when participating in activities representing London Eagles, including the use of alcohol or illicit drugs, smoking in undesignated areas, verbal abuse or physical abuse, or engaging in discriminatory behaviors, is strictly prohibited and will result in strong disciplinary sanctions, includingtermination of membership.

3. Appropriate sporting clothing and equipment (including protective gear, shoes, etc.) must be worn when on the field, including practice sessions and matches.

4. Matchday squads will be selected based on the following factors, including but not limited to discipline, performance, commitment, skill, and punctuality during practice sessions and matchdays.
